The Occupy Wall St. Movement is sweeping the country. Some have described participants as potheads, extremists, or even Communists. I thought it would be a fine idea to SHOW “Them” exactly what it is that you DO for this country.
On pro-movement news broadcasts, I heard participants being referred-to as: “The Occupy People” for lack of a better name. I thought: “They need a “real” name. “Occupier” has possible negative connotations. “Occupant” was better – it conveys one belonging in a place. And thus, this site was born.

Lansing City and Michigan State Police should be Commended!
I attended the #Oct15 #OccupyLansing rally. This #Occupant would like to send out a gigantic THANK YOU to the city of Lansing Police Department and the Michigan State Police who were present. They were courteous, and helpful – they cleared the way for marches, both on bikes and in cars.
The New York Police department could take some lessons from Lansing and Michigan!
